Eleade Fussball
The player development business run by Jan Schmidt, the host of the podcast.
Your club develops the team. We develop you.
Eleade Fussball offers individual coaching in Sydney built on European coaching principles. The focus is on technique, cognition and game understanding, with progress measured rather than guessed.
It works with committed players aged 12 and over who compete at representative level, such as JDL, NPL or equivalent. Sessions run in person in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, and game analysis is available online anywhere.
What Eleade offers
- Individual training
- One-on-one sessions built around technique, decision-making and game understanding.
- Game analysis
- Video review of a player’s own matches, with tactical feedback on key moments. Available online, in Australia and overseas.
- Football testing
- A standardised German test battery measuring speed, agility, dribbling, passing and ball control, so progress can be tracked over time.
- Pathway
- Support for trials with academy clubs in Germany, with coaching to prepare for them.
- Performance diagnostics
- Testing and progress tracking for teams and clubs.
The approach
- Individual first: meaningful progress comes from purposeful coaching, not crowded sessions.
- Quality over quantity: sessions are planned to maximise learning, touches on the ball and game understanding.
- Long-term development: no two development paths are the same, so every plan is built around the player.
Eleade has four UEFA-licensed coaches. Players who have trained with Eleade represent clubs including Bayer Leverkusen, 1. FC Köln, Grasshopper Club Zürich, Sydney FC, Western Sydney Wanderers, UNSW FC and Hakoah.
What sets eleade apart … is the emphasis on data. When utilising that information the player can see improvements in different aspects.
Eleade and the podcast
From First Touch to First Team is an independent show. It is hosted by Jan, and Eleade supports it, but the podcast has its own guests, its own direction and its own audience of players, parents and coaches.
